Risk Disclosure

VND Exchange ("the Operator", "we") is a private exchange service. It is not a registered company. The only place to reach us, confirm an order, or get support is the Telegram bot and mini-app @VNDExchangeRobot. We do not publish a support handle, an email, a registration number, or a licence, because we hold none.

We are not a bank, a credit, payment, or e-money institution, a broker, a licensed currency dealer, or a licensed crypto exchange. No authority licenses or supervises us, and that includes the State Bank of Vietnam. Nothing here, on our website, in the calculator, or in the bot is investment, legal, or tax advice. We act as a principal: we buy or sell the asset on our own account for a one-off exchange. We are not your agent, broker, adviser, fiduciary, or custodian, and we owe you no advisory or best-execution duty.

This Risk Disclosure covers the website, the Telegram bot, and the mini-app. Read it before you place an order. It works together with our Public Offer, AML/KYC Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy. Crypto, including USDT, is treated throughout as property — a digital asset. It is not money, legal tender, or a means of payment.

This is short on purpose. The risks below are real, and several of them cannot be undone once they happen.

1. You can lose money

Exchanging crypto and currency carries risk. You may lose part, or all, of the value involved. You do this at your own risk, with your own funds, and on your own judgement. Do not put in more than you can afford to lose.

2. Prices move

USDT and the currencies we exchange can move sharply in minutes. The rate you see on the website, in the calculator, or in the mini-app is indicative only. It is not a quote you can hold us to. The binding rate is fixed only when you confirm the order in the bot, and even a quote shown inside the bot can move, expire, or be re-quoted before you accept it. The gap between the rate you first looked at and the rate at settlement can go against you.

3. The transaction cannot be reversed

This is the single most important point. Once a transfer leaves our hands or yours, it is gone.

  • A crypto transfer on the blockchain is final. There is no chargeback, no recall, no "undo".
  • Cash handed to or by a courier is final once it changes hands.
  • A bank or card transfer, once sent and received, is not something we can claw back for you.

We cannot reverse a completed exchange, and we are under no obligation to try.

4. Network mistakes are permanent — check before you send

You are responsible for the details you give us and for the details you send to. A mistake at this step usually means the funds are lost for good and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us:

  • the wrong wallet address;
  • the wrong network or chain (for example, sending on a network we did not specify);
  • a missing or wrong memo / tag / destination tag;
  • the wrong bank account, card number, or recipient name.

Verify every address, network, tag, and bank detail yourself, character by character, before you send. If in doubt, ask in the bot first. We have no duty to recover funds sent to the wrong place, and in most cases recovery is impossible.

5. We are not a bank, and there is no insurance

Your funds are not deposits. They are not insured. There is no deposit insurance, no compensation fund, and no investor-protection scheme of any kind behind this service. If a transaction goes wrong for one of the reasons in this notice, there is no safety net to make you whole.

6. Legal and regulatory risk is yours

Rules on crypto and currency exchange differ from place to place and can change with little warning. You are responsible for whether using this service is lawful where you are. The service is not directed to anyone in a jurisdiction where using it would be unlawful. If the law where you are restricts or forbids what you are doing, that is your risk, not ours.

7. Tax is yours

Any tax, reporting, or declaration arising from an exchange is solely your responsibility. We do not calculate, withhold, report, or advise on tax.

8. Counterparty, cash, and courier risk

When you deal with us you take counterparty risk: an exchange depends on both sides performing. For cash settlement by courier, count the money and check the denominations at the hand-over, before the courier leaves. Once you have accepted the cash, it is treated as correct and received in full. Raise any shortfall or query at the hand-over, not after.

9. Technology can fail

The service runs on Telegram and on the blockchain, and neither is under our control. Telegram, the bot, or the mini-app can go down or lag. Blockchain networks get congested, fork, or reorganise, which can delay or affect a transfer. An order can be slowed or interrupted by problems we cannot prevent. The service is provided as is and as available, with no uptime promise.

10. Acknowledgement

By confirming an order, you confirm that you have read this notice, that you understand each risk above, and that you accept them.
